Srila Prabhupada often preached about the importance of cow protection in human society. Not long ago, The Prabhupada Connection was approached on the subject and was asked to include some appropriate quotes from Srila Prabhupada on this very same topic by Author and Photographer, Carl Hileman, who at the time was planning to publish a book on cows, entitled "Cows -- A Rumination" (see cover photo above). After perusing Srila Prabhupada's books, Carl himself chose the quotes which he wanted to include in his book. They can be read here on The Prabhupada Connection in Causeless Mercy #121. We're honored to have had this opportunity to help spread Srila Prabhupada's practical and compassionate philosophy on the importance of protecting Krishna's cows.
