On the auspicious occasion of Srila Prabhupada's anniversary of leaving Calcutta and arriving in Boston aboard the Jaladuta, I thought you might enjoy the following.
As you know Captain Arun Pandia exclaimed to Srila Prabhupada after the Atlantic crossing that in all of his decades of crossing the ocean he had never had such a smooth crossing.
The captain had many many years of sailing experience and obviously visited many ports of call and on September 14th, 1961, a local Vancouver photographer, Walter Frost, took this photograph in Vancouver.
