Writing an offering to you is always such a difficult endeavor. How is it possible to put into words the effect your teachings have had on us conditioned souls? You have shown us the path to spirituality through your teachings and example of dovetailing one's energy and talent in Krsna's service. How could we have ever arrived at such a conclusion without meeting your Divine Grace?
Of particular personal interest is your instructions on varnasrama-dharma and self-sufficiency. Our personal endeavor has revealed to us the practicality and effectiveness of your instructions and it has become obvious that we are never the losers by following your instructions faithfully.
Our gardens and fields are now in full production providing fruit, flowers, grains and vegetables to offer you and the Deities, Sri Sri Gaur Nitai. In season, the bounty proffered to Their Lordships has often been harvested shortly before the offering and when it comes our turn to honor Gaura Nitai's prasadam, we marvel at the taste and vitality of nature's grace which was revealed to us by the mercy of your instructions. Even here in Canada during winter's icy embrace, we are still able to offer you a variety of vegetables and grains from the farm's harvest.
Though our progress is laughable, our abilities frail, equipment breaking and lower back aching; we cannot but marvel at the potency and practicality of your teachings. As with everything you touch, it all leads to the Supreme Lord Krsna. This simple lifestyle is a natural component of and great assistance in developing our Krsna consciousness.
So we pray Srila Prabhupada that you are a little pleased with the simple fare that we offer you and Gaur Nitai daily and pray for your patience as we endeavor to evolve our service to you and your devotees each day.
We are humbled and full of gratitude that you have accepted us as your disciples and pray that our service is pleasing to you in some way. Life has no meaning if it is not connected to you and Lord Caitanya's devotional service.
We are eternally indebted to you for offering us this opportunity of devotional service. Please accept our offerings though so ever humble.
Your servants,
