Dearest Srila Prabhupada,
When I first saw your smiling face effulgent,
I knew somehow there would be a place
of shelter, undeserved kindness and
love unconditional, for this fallen soul at your feet.
A struggle I knew if easy would guarantee nothing.
I pray each day for my sufferings.... fill my heart
with love and knowing, with a longing to see
again your face, so beautifully glowing.
Thank you Srila Prabhupada for saving this wretched
worthless thief, my only hope one day to succeed
in fullfilling your instruction.
