______________________________
Srila Prabhupada, you are our eternal well-wisher. From the depths of our hearts, we want to thank you for saving us and for giving our lives their real purpose. We never cease to wonder by what miracle we have all somehow come into your association. From the moment we met you, through your sincere followers, we became the most fortunate of souls, as you poured your miracles of mercy into our barren lives. Everything good and beautiful in our lives has all come to us as your many matchless gifts. We may never truly realize the full scope of all your gifts to the world.
Yet one thing we know for sure: you are the most amazing instrument of Mahaprabhu's kindness, empowered to offer all mankind His divine gifts of salvation through the Yuga Dharma of Sri Krishna Sankirtan. And this expanding miracle of Gaura-vani has incarnated on your own very lips. Hearing the Absolute Truth from your glorious books and classes has now allowed us all to desire entrance into that sacred realm of pure devotion where you eternally reside. And we pray to become much more attached to the life-giving nectar flowing like a fountain of youth from your divine lips. In that shower of pure nectar only can we hope to be forever cleansed of all our anarthas and eventually become blessed to regain our taste for the Lord's eternal service.
To quote your deep realizations (from your Vyasa Puja offering of 1936 to your own great master): "that the divine message from his holy lips is the congenial thing for suffering humanity...", we are determined to continue like you the highest welfare work of offering as many souls as possible the shelter of your perfect message. Then they may at least know something of their real identity and thus hopefully also become saved from Kali's onslaught.
Srila Prabhupada, you dedicated your entire life's energy towards this purpose and your success continues to manifest even in spite of our severe imperfections and lack of deep unity. This is all somewhat mysterious yet so glorious, how you can work your miracles of mercy even through us, your inept but grateful instruments. We pray never to leave the sun of your association, so that we can continue to be rewarded by these awesome glimpses into the ineffable beauty and opulence of a true lover of Krishna, one of His very own. We also pray to always remain alert to the delusions that could steal us away from your perfect and complete shelter.
If we can somehow be allowed the constant remembrance of your infinite love for all souls, we will remain somewhat useful to you, and thus be allowed to further witness your endless miracles expanded all over the world. This gives us enduring joy and hope, and this divine legacy of your never-ending gifts remains as our lives' only sure solace.
Your grateful although unworthy servants of the New Gokula community, ISKCON Vancouver, Canada.
