Our great Lord of mercy
Karunavatar Sri Caitanya
Has descenced from on high
To rescue all of us suffering souls
Caught in Kali's poisonous embrace
Our great saviours Nitai Gauranga
Have thus arisen together
Like the sun and the moon
To remove the darkness of ignorance
That has stifled mankind's hope
Declaring war on Kali's dark hordes
Our merciful Lords have brought with Them
Their own invincible divine astras
As Their own empowered servants
Who alone can defeat
Kali's rampant tyrants and rogues
From among these valiant spiritual warriors
Srila Bhaktivinode first of all
Sounded the clarion call
To rally all pious souls
Under the banner of the Yuga dharma
Of Mahapraphu's Sankirtan Movement
His fearless son Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Thakur
Boldly traversed all of Bharata Varsa
To challenge and uproot
The vicious concoctions and shameless deviations
Of the demon agents of Kali
Masquerading as pseudo-vaisnavas
He roared out with potent shakti
The pure message of Mahaprabhu
That any and all souls
Can become worthy recipients
Of the nectar flood of Gaura kripa
When they simply call out with sincere hearts
The divine names of Nitai Gauranga
And glorify the Divine Couple
With the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra
From among the many true servants
Of the conquering singha guru
One great commander arose
To fulfill his great desire
And help liberate the entire world
Prophesized as the senapati bhakta
The Commander-in-chief
Of Gauranga's Sankirtan forces
Srila A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Humbly took up the sacred order
Of his perfect master with unflinching faith
And single-handedly conquered
All of the western mlecha loka
Inspiring so many downcast and searching souls
He lovingly nurtured our budding attraction
To follow his pure life of devotion
Arming us with the kavaca of strong sadhana
He showed us how to win the first battle
By uprooting the demons of sin
Still lurking in our impure hearts
Then he miraculously transformed
So many into stalwart messengers
Of the golden Lord's gospel of love of God
Sending them to every town and village
With the blessings of Nama-sankirtan
The essence of the pure Gaura Vani
Holding tighly unto the shield of his mercy
They continue to relentlessly push aside
All the sceptics and cynical disbelievers
As they spread world-wide
The great Bhagavat revolution
In the dawn of Gauranga's golden age of love
Srila Prabhupada has armed his faithful followers
With the invincible divine weapons
Of the pure Harinam
And the divya jnana
Of His perfect vani
Under his emopowered command
His Sankitrtan army of truth
Has conquered in all directions
To push back Kali's entrenched dark forces
At last suffering mankind
Can find new hope
In the golden Lord's expanding glories
Broadcasting the greatest good news
That we are all God's children
Meant to regain His blissful service
And that our beautiful playful Lord
Awaits us all to join Him again
In His eternal festival of love
To be experienced even now
In the sweet glorification
Of His all-blissful Names
Thus secure under our fearless Commander-in-chief
The Sankirtan forces keep pushing forward
Following behind our ever-triumphant leader
Who has already cleared the path of all dangers
We pray to always remember
That under your enduring protection
No harm can ever come to us
Neither from Kali's relentless agents
Nor from maya's beguiling allurements
For we are fortified by this solid conviction
That you are all victorious in the past
You are indeed victorious in the present
And are assuredly ever victorious in the future
