Offering to Srila Prabhupada

ALL GLORY TO SRI GURU & GOURANGA!

I offer my infinite dandabats at the feet of my eternal divine master Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who has most mercifully brought the Savior of the Kali Yuga Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's glorious message to the the entire world through his full surrender to the order of his Divine Master Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur.

In your final pastimes in our presence, you would say to us as you were laying on your bed, "DO NOT THINK THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU..." We were young children, and although we heard your words, it seems we really did not fathom that we were still under the control of eternal time.

We have past our lives so frivolously and wasted not minutes, or hours or days, but we have wasted years of our precious lives hovering in the dream that we will somehow do what no one has ever done before and achieve happiness in family, friendship and love.

Oh, Srila Prabhupada, what fools we are to again and again get trapped by the illusory energy of Lord Krishna. How will you forgive us for being such fools? You warned us that our strength is in our unity, like a bunch of sticks together could not be broken, but a single stick easily breaks. My prayer is all those who profess faith in Lord Goursundar will unite in one overwhelmingly powerful spiritual army, realizing fully that Guru is One because Krishna is One. By your blessings can all the sectarian defects in us be removed, and the blazing fire of pure devotion like a tidal wave flood the hearts of all the suffering Jivas.

As you used to tell us when we would ask you, "Srila Prabhupada, what should we do if there is a huge earthquake and California sinks in the sea?" You would reply, "CHANT HARE KRISHNA!"... There is no other way, no other way, no other way!

Srila Prabhupada, I see in today's world so much facility for delivering HARE KRISHNA to the fallen souls. Yet, I see that we have failed to utilize. Why do we not have satellites broadcasting the transcendental sound through the ethers into the homes and offices of everyone on this earth like the Christians and Muslims? Why are we not filling football stadiums with one Lakh or more for gigantic kirtans?

Why are we continuing to argue 26 years after your disappearance about what your orders are? Your orders were never in doubt to me at least. If I am an obedient disciple, then I carry your potency, and if I am disobedient, then I am not. Srila Prabhupada, you wrote that the "highest realization is to save yourself." We so easily think that we are already freed from the clutches of illusion, but the reality is the opposite.

Srila Prabhupada, personally I have never one doubt in you. My troubles are all my own making, my stubbornness in trying to remain adverse to the almighty. I am a diseased soul and I am helpless and I know that there is no way out of my delusion other than your blessings, your causeless mercy.

I beg you to not toss me away. I beg you to remember whatever small service I have tried to offer to you, and I beg you to keep me eternally connected with you birth after birth. I pray that one day again you will grace me with a smile when you are again pleased by my service mood.

I pray Srila Prabhupada that your vision for every home to become a temple and for the people on this earth to be happy with simple living and high thinking will be manifest very soon.
